Maintenance services for one of our family buildings were one of the major headaches that my family always encounters. Needless to say, we still hired some companies to do the maintenance of the building but all of them seem to cut short of their services done to our building. It was mediocre. When I first saw the ad for the job, I knew it would take a miracle for the company to hire someone like me. It said “electronics salesman” and the description required somebody with credible scientific knowledge about gadgets and modern technology. I wouldn’t have dreamt of applying for that position except for the fact that they were willing to pay big money for whoever gets the job.

After thinking hard, I said to myself I have nothing to lose and so much to gain. And so fast forward to the interview. The manager asked me politely to enumerate my background about electronics and I thought it was the end of the road for me. I tried a couple of times in high school but this time, I am going for the kill. I am seriously considering that golf might just be the hobby that I never had but I should have gotten into a long time ago. I want to be good at it that’s why I am doing my best to improve chip shot by doing it more than four times a week from a once a week session. Call it serious is an understatement. I don’t mind calling it addition. I lost some weight doing it so it must be good.

Added to it, I am intently listening to perfect golf swing instructions when I have the chance from my grandfather who was a pro-golfer when he was young. He seems to be very good in giving golf advice. I don’t feel bored and it just makes me feel good in playing the game.  I don’t know when will be my first to hit that hole in one but I am keeping my fingers crossed. I can do it in the future. I have time on my side. There’s actually no rush.
