Labeling is a smart thing to do

Posted by Billy on July 21st, 2010

A person has a way of making hard things possible (on some occasion) when it comes to being resourceful. When our office was planning on renovating, we decided to pack things up and make sure that everything is secured in boxes. Our product labeling equipment was properly stored and the only problem left is organizing our paperwork and the likes. One of our staff used the printer applicator to label the boxes before the equipment was moved. It was a very smart thing to do, that way we wouldn’t throw away the things that we still need and mistake them for rejects.

The boxes were properly organized and were delivered to our new office. We immediately arranged our new office to the way it should be and the stuff was taken from the organized boxes. We know exactly where to look because of the labels. It was very helpful indeed and made our preparation faster. All things were set and in proper condition at the end of the day. When we resumed our working operations, we were happy that everything is at its proper place. It was as if we never moved at all.

Our New Wilmington All Terrain Crane Rental Business

Posted by Billy on March 30th, 2010

The all terrain crane Wilmington business that we just bought, needs a lot of restructuring. I think that we might have to get rid of quite a few employees that are having a tough time with change. They apparently think that we are going to run this all terrain crane Wilmington company the same way that the old owners used to and that is just not the case.

The employees do not know that this is the fourth place that we have bought in the last six months that really needed to be reworked. Part of the reason that the old owners sold us most of those properties, is because business was not going so well. If your business is not going well, then you should change things and that is what I am going to do.

The rent a boom truck Myrtle Beach company that we bought took about two weeks of monitoring the current operations and then we saw what was wrong. We made the necessary changes and found that within six weeks, the rent a boom truck Myrtle Beach company was starting to turn a profit again. It is really exciting to see that the business is doing much better than when we first bought it and it just took a little time and patience.

Titanium Ingot Saves Lives Of Many

Life is precious and we are all responsible for ensuring that it is preserved. If there is anything that helps save this precious life, we need to acknowledge and at least admit that it is so. We all know how titanium billet has helped save several lives. This happens when the material is used to make produce medical and medicare products that in turn are used to save lives.

Examples of products that result from that are such as implants, artificial bones and welfare products. All these come from the titanium ingot and we know how valuable they are when life is being preserved. In situations of accidents usually we would have broken limbs and bones and replacement is possible.

Also, implants are good in life preservation. Welfare products are just obvious. We would have so much appreciation when we know what this can help us get. We also need to appreciate the fact that the lives that could be lost when such products are not available are equally precious.

So, if you can, try and appreciate the value of this metal. When you have an industry that deals in the manufacturer of the products, you should just try to ensure that you are making the best use of the quality metal.

Technology Of The Future Generation - Rapid Prototyping

Posted by Billy on March 19th, 2009

With the advent of computer technology the commercial world has undergone a complete transformation. Essentially in the designing world the use of Computer Aided Design or CAD has revolutionized the manufacturing industry completely. There is also no doubt that in the future computers will be widely use for automatic manufacture of objects as well as the products and systems. In fact rapid prototypes being the best tools for manufacturing geometric complex designs in advance is going to rule the market for some times to come.

Using the rapid prototypes the manufacturers are able to find out the loop holes in their designs and objects and making necessary rectifications in them. Since the prototypes are made in few numbers normally, finding out the necessary modifications becomes quite cost economic for the manufacturer. It also saves them a lot of time by dispensing with the subtractive as well as the once popular trial and error methods. The best part of it is that you can use the technology for any type of object with any amount of complexity involved and covering any descriptions.

Inputs for the methodology are only the raw materials as well as the data. It is reminiscent of the erstwhile desktop publishing. The difference is that instead of documents and the printed materials used in desktop publishing you use materials like plastics, fibers or materials like the Polyjet white parts for creation of the prototype. The day is not far off when the objects we dream only could be given concrete shape using the prototyping technology.

Another application of rapid prototyping

Posted by Billy on March 13th, 2009

There are lots of people who believe that rapid prototyping is all about making prototypes to use in different industries. While it is absolutely true that the basic purpose of rapid prototyping is to build prototypes, there are some other applications as well that are associated with this amazing technology.

One of the applications of RP is rapid tooling. This is the process where production quality machine tools are fabricated. Although there lots of people who considering the option of using rapid tooling but it is still in its early days.

Actually, the tooling process is one of the most slowest and expensive in the manufacturing industry. What it means is that if tools are to be manufactured by traditional process they have to take a lot of time. For tooling, it has to be ensured that tools are of high quality. Also, it is understandable that tools come with more complicated geometries, which is the reason why they take more time in manufacturing.

To overcome all these issues, the option of rapid prototyping is used. This doesn’t only enhance the speed of manufacturing but also provides more accurate tooling. It is because of these advantages that people are now opting for rapid tooling.

However, if you are interested in making use of this option, you have to use the services offered by a professional company. That’s exactly the point when Solidconcepts.com comes into the picture with a bang. This company doesn’t only offer quality prototyping services but also offers high class tooling and injection molding services. So, check this site get professional services.

Rapid Prototyping And The Market Trends

Posted by Billy on March 13th, 2009

Recent trends in the manufacturing industry indicate a visible preference for the custom-designed parts. Most of the clients would like to have the parts manufactured according to their needs and specific suggestions. To arrive at consensus with your valued customer, rapid prototyping is the most popular method.

What you do is create a prototype of the part indented using computer aided designs or similar methods. It may not be exactly as the final item to be manufactures. But it would be somewhere in the range of 70-80% perfect replica of the things to come. You and your customer could check up the prototype, basically a model, and find out any further changes that are required. Thus rapid prototyping improves communication to a great extent. The process is invaluable in the concurrent engineering environments.

The word “rapid” itself denotes the essence of the methodology. You want everything to be done fast even if they are not hundred percent accurate. Multiple advantages are derived from the fast technology. You can effect changes that could have been far too more expensive at later stages. It also helps customizing the products to the liking of the client. It also helps you to chalk out your full manufacturing plans with little initial investment. No huge loss is caused due to some faulty design since the prototype, small in number, can be easily replaced at low cost.

Would it not be a marvelous experience when you get same day shipping for custom designed parts with such prototyping methods? It is really a huge saving of time and money.
