If I could just shout my lungs out last night, I would. I knew that I might be able to find some spare parts at the swap meet so I set out for the three hour drive on that Saturday morning. I would have never guessed that in addition to the spare parts for poweredge servers that I found, I also got six used servers that were in excellent condition.

They all asked me to get the name of the company he had used so that they could give it to their computer teams. Four of my friends wound up using the same company to get used proliant servers at really good prices and I also purchased some used proliant servers to have in my storage room for backups.

The poweredge servers that were on sale at the store are all gone. I thought that by getting there early in the morning, I would have really good chance of getting one. Of course, the saleslady that I talked to told me that they had a line outside the building before they even opened. I guess that I did not think that there were that many people who noticed such great buys when they see it.

I had gotten the flyer from the dell repair store about three days earlier about the big sale on the poweredge servers and was not sure if I really wanted one or not. I told my boss about the sale and he asked me to go by and get one for him. He thought that it was a great deal and he said that since I was planning on going anyway, and the limit was two that I should just get his too.

I guess that he might be a little upset with me for getting to the dell repair store so late, but I was also picking up his dry cleaning and coffee before heading here so it is technically his fault. If I had come straight here I might have been able to get at least one of the poweredge servers for one of us, I would have given it to him probably.
