New Double Hung Windows To Be Installed
Home & Garden December 2nd, 2009When my husband told me that he had called a company to come out and give us a price on replacing our old windows, I was thrilled. Our windows were original to the house and putting plastic on them to help with the energy costs had become quite a pain, not to mention it looked horrible.
We asked the salesman from the window company to explain all of our options to us. He was able to tell us about every different type of window that his company offered. I felt great and confident about our choice to go with the double hung windows. They seemed to be the obvious choice for what we were trying to accomplish. The double hung windows would lower our energy costs and still look great while doing that.
We signed the estimate for the removal of the old windows and the installation of the new double hung windows. The gentleman from the window company told us that he figured our windows would be delivered sometime the following week and then they would call and schedule our date and time for installation. I was excited to think that we would be able to open and close our new double hung windows since they would not have plastic over them. I also was looking forward to seeing what kind of savings we would get in return from our heating and cooling bills.
