Saving On Discount Office Supplies
Shopping November 30th, 2009My company was searching for discount office supplies from a company that would deliver. I started looking online and found several companies that offered these services. I printed out a list of the office supplies that they offered and a price list to compare to other online companies. I noticed that one of the companies had lower prices for just about anything.
At the weekly meeting I gave everyone a report of my findings. I went into detail of a few of the discount office supplies companies and how their prices were a little higher than the one that I thought we should start using. My boss was very impressed with the numbers and asked that I make sure that the switch of office supplies companies is done immediately. I went ahead and notified our old supplier that we no longer needed their services. They of course said that they could price match any other company that we found. I had to let them know that if they could all of a sudden offer us lower prices than they should have been giving them to us this whole time.
I called and set up everything with the online discount office supplies company that we would now be using and they made the transition very easy. My company stands to save around five hundred dollars each month on office supplies from the switch.
