I bought a used dell monitor at a garage sale last year, and stuck it up in the attic just in case mine ever quit working. I had completely forgotten about it until I was up there getting my Christmas decoration out for the holiday season. It was just sitting there all covered in dust when I wondered if I could sell it to make a little extra cash.

I put an ad in the paper, and received three calls wondering if I also had used poweredge servers. I of course told them that I did not. After the third call, I got online to see what a used poweredge server was. I found a company that sold them for a great price and decided to order one to see if I could make some money from it, since no one seemed to want the used dell monitor that I did have.

When I received it in the mail, I put that ad in the paper and sold it in less than two hours, for double the money I had paid for it. I knew that I could have sold at least ten more, if I had them so I ordered ten more used poweredge servers to sell to people before Christmas and I would make enough to pay for every gift I needed to buy.
