Muay Thai Routines For Trainees
Recreation & Sport July 4th, 2009The main aim is to give a proper routine to the advancers at gym at training. For someone, Muay Thai bag is a way of burning calories, for someone else; it is to get trained effectively.
There are 8 stages of this. Someone who has been working out for years, for him too, it can be a lot of pressure to follow this kind of routine. The 8 steps are:
1. Warming-Up- Running, bouncing or skipping for around 15 to 20 minutes to release sweat constitute warming up. To increase flexibility level, it involves stretching too.
2. Running- 20-30 minutes of running in the morning strengthen the upper and lower leg and also increase the stamina of a person.
3. Shadow boxing: The punch or the kick should not be shortened while doing this exercise instead full range should be used.
4. Skipping. It gives the body stamina and it also results in its co ordination. To keep the mind alert as well as relaxed, skipping by rounds should be done. It should be kept in mind that when skipping is done in a hopping way, bouncing should not be done on two feet.
5. Free Weights- Lighter weights should be used more while using free weights.
6. Bags and Pads Routine. Follow punching on pads and the punching bags helps to prepare for your training properly.
7. Speed Balls: The use of speed ball will surely help anyone improve his/her movement coordination in the movement and it also strengthens the shoulders.
8. Sparring- It is a very important element in this training.
